About Arlinda
It is my desire to empower you with life skills that will help you improve
your functioning and quality of life. I have been instrumental in
leading individuals from being a victim to surviving to thriving! As
well as change old negative thought patterns to more positive reality based
beliefs. I like to encourage individuals to believe in themselves and to
know their worth to God and others.
Among my areas of focus are Addictions, Trauma, Spiritual Concerns, &
Grief & Loss Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Anxiety Disorders,
Impulse control including Borderline Personality Disorders, Self-Esteem and
Anger Management. I have experience working with various demographics and
understand the needs of these different populations. As well as leading
various therapy, educational, and skill based groups.
I am a License d Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor, and with a focus in the treatment of Alzheimer's and Caregiver's Stress. I have a private practice in the heart of the city of Indianapolis , IN.
In conclusion, I like to use a holistic approach including the spiritual,
emotional, and mental being. As well as using combination of therapy
approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical
Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Therapy. With God’s
guidance, I will help you attain personal growth and build on your strength
in a therapeutic setting that is compassionate, encouraging, and inspiring .
